BackgroundBackgroundLady Elysse is the the Granddaughter of Dutchess Marla of Poza. The Duchess Marla is not in good health, so Elysse runs most of the show in Poza. Poza is not a very wealthy province, so her marriage to Duke David of Sigel is a welcome one, from her family's viewpoint. Poza has been traditionally royalist, to the point of being whiny. Elysse's family is spoiled to no end.
Elysse is the exception, having the rulership of Poza forced on her at a young age, has made her mature fast. Being surrounded by nobility all her life, as well as by distant relatives who try to take rulership away from her ailing grandmother, has put a great deal of strain on her. She longs for her marriage to Duke David for some relief from the stress and her financial problems.
With her marrage to Duke David, Sigel and Poza would become one providence. No longer would her whiny relatives be in line for any rulership.
Lady Elysse is very fair of skin, being an elf and living your whole life up north in the snowy plains of Poza will so that. Constantly being fussed at and overprotected doesnt help either. She has long black hair, brown eyes, and stands about 5' 10". She carries herself with dignity and pride of a noble woman. She does not let the pressures of her life show.
